{"id":14571,"date":"2019-10-25T14:52:04","date_gmt":"2019-10-25T12:52:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fecs.it\/2019\/10\/a-new-management-organization-for-the-fecs-group\/"},"modified":"2025-09-09T14:27:10","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T12:27:10","slug":"a-new-management-organization-for-the-fecs-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fecs.it\/en\/2019\/10\/a-new-management-organization-for-the-fecs-group\/","title":{"rendered":"A New Management Organization for the FECS Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1205 alignleft\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/1554199948_tmp_FECS_group-logo_Alta-300x212.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"212\"><\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><span class=\"s1\"><b><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\">Greater interaction between companies and faster decision-making.<\/span><\/b><\/span><b><\/b><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\">The FECS Group, headed by entrepreneur Olivo Foglieni, was founded in 1999 with the aim of creating a company entirely focused on the recovery and processing of aluminium metal.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\">The Group is involved <\/span><\/span><strong><span class=\"s1\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\">in the entire aluminium recovery<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\"> value chain through a verticalized system: from the recovery of metal waste, with plants capable of separating aluminium from other metals and\/or components, to the valorization of raw materials, ending with the production of semi-finished products, including die-cast and design radiators.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\">A circular group rooted in the Bergamo area, which, over the years, has reached an aggregated turnover of \u20ac280 million and employs around 400 people across 8 production sites. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\">Given the Group&#8217;s rapid growth, the magnitude of the induced economic impac<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\">t, and the importance of the vertical flow across the entire production chain, <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\"><strong>the ownership has, in the past 12 months, reconsidered its management structure, completing a \u201cunification\u201d project of the various legal entities into<\/strong><\/span><\/span> <strong><span class=\"s1\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\">two dedicated Business Units focused on the core activities<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\">The first Business Unit is tasked with overseeing the entire value chain of raw material recovery from waste and the subsequent production and commercialization of semi-finished aluminium products \u2013 ingots \u2013 made from secondary aluminium. The second unit is focused on the production and sale of radiators (both die-cast and extruded) for domestic heating.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\">The goal of this ambitious project (purely managerial in nature) is to achieve even <b>greater integration of the value chain<\/b> through the unification of product and purchasing\/sales strategies, thanks to the intensification of relationships among people across the different production sites, maximizing the synergies that come from twenty years of industry knowledge.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\">Sharing more complete and real-time information, combined with the stratification of key roles\u2014aggregated within the two BU by front-line figures who have enabled the team to achieve incredible goals in recent years\u2014will ensure faster decision-making and shorter action times.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;\">A paradigm shift strongly desired by ownership to enable management based on <b>a unified long-term strategic vision<\/b>.
