Stemin spa, parent company of our industrial Group, has obtained the prestigious ASI (Aluminium Stewardship Initiative) certification with respect to the Performance Standard for the production, procurement and responsible aluminium management.
Since 1999, the year of its birth, the mission carried out by the company and the entire industrial Group has been to create a sustainable business model based on a perfect circular economy for which requalified metal waste takes new life into semi-finished products in secondary aluminum and finished products for domestic heating with a single common denominator: the use of secondary aluminium as a raw material.
“The achievement of the prestigious ASI certification, for a relatively young company within the sector denotes that our vision has always been correctly addressed and how our work is oriented towards sustainability in every aspect. Our products made from 100% secondary material guarantee low CO₂ emissions, contributing to increased value and responsibility throughout the supply chain.
We are really proud of this milestone that confirms how Stemin spa is counted among the best European and world companies in this sector. I thank everyone for their work and commitment in obtaining not only the certification itself, but for what the entire team does every day in complete compliance with issues that are now essential”.
The words of President Olivo Foglieni.
