Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, the Romanian subsidiary of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, has granted AS Metal Com Srl a credit line worth 4 million (in local currency), aimed at ensuring the liquidity needs for ongoing activities and future investments.

The credit line was approved with a government guarantee issued by EximBank, under the COVID-19 State Aid Scheme.

The company, founded in 1993, is the result of the collaboration and strong partnership between the Foglieni and Apostol shareholders, and since 2009, it has been part of the FECS industrial holding, based in Verdellino (BG).

The company participates in the recycling circuit by collecting aluminium scrap, which is transformed into secondary raw materials and reintroduced into the industrial circuit.

Every year, the company produces about 17,000 tons of secondary aluminium ingots and 2,000 tons of secondary raw materials from other metals.

The projected growth for the company now has important support measures in place for a sustainable business model, enabling favorable conditions for particularly innovative companies that, since their inception, have understood the advantages of the circular economy and the need to optimize resource consumption to prevent and reduce waste.
