Stemin S.p.A., the parent company of our Industrial Group, has obtained the prestigious Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) certification with respect to the Performance Standard for Responsible Aluminium Production, Procurement and Management.
Since its inception in 1999, the mission pursued by the company and the entire Industrial Group has been to create a sustainable business model based on a perfect circular economy whereby reprocessed metal scrap takes on a new life in semi-finished secondary aluminium products and finished home heating products with one common denominator: the use of secondary aluminium as a raw material.

“Obtaining the prestigious ASI certification, for a relatively young company in the industry like ours, denotes when our vision has always been properly directed and how sustainability-oriented our operations are in every aspect. Our products made from 100 percent secondary material ensure low CO₂ emissions, contributing to increased value and responsibility on the entire supply/production chain.
We are truly proud of this milestone achievement, which establishes how Stemin S.p.A. is counted among the best in Europe and the world in this field. I thank everyone for their hard work and commitment in obtaining not only the certification itself, but for what the entire team does every day in complete compliance with issues that are now indispensable.”
President Olivo Foglieni’s words.

The Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) is a global, multi-stakeholder, non-profit organization that establishes standards and certification to promote responsible production, sourcing and management in the global aluminium value chain.
