Brusaporto, December 14, 2019 – The traditional Christmas dinner of the FECS Group at the “La Cantalupa” restaurant in Vittorio was the perfect occasion to also celebrate the first 20 years of success of Stemin, the founding company of the entire industrial group.

Since its founding in 1999, Stemin has quickly risen to a leadership position in the metallurgical sector, and the festive evening featured a “career” award ceremony for several employees who have reached the significant milestone of having been with the company since its inception.

A major milestone for a young company, which Olivo Foglieni, founder and president of Stemin, comments on as follows: “It is a great pride to look back and see the miracle we have built, and even more beautiful for me is knowing that the same people who believed in this dream 20 years ago are still by my side today. The successes we have achieved are the result of entrepreneurial vision, but also, and above all, of the great teamwork that everyone contributes to every day for the company, because we work primarily for others, not just for something. The story of Stemin began in 1999 as the first company established under the FECS Industrial Group, today one of the few players in the world able to produce aluminium products of the highest technical quality with direct transformations from scrap, which is recovered and valorized.

There are two key milestones that have marked the company’s path and its biggest challenges: 2011, which saw the relocation from the old, historic headquarters to a cutting-edge plant in Comun Nuovo, and 2015, which saw the creation of a new foundry for aluminium ingot production.

A journey that has been successful thanks to the Group’s vision, which centers on the industry of the future, where skills, innovation, creativity, and know-how serve the growth of the country, the local area, the work team, and the environment. This ongoing effort has allowed the company to reach a current turnover of 130 million euros.
